Progress of the event:

Ved: Good afternoon

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Ved: Hello!

Today we have gathered in this hall to congratulate representatives of one of the most important, most necessary and sought-after professions in the world.

Ved: Cooks all over the world celebrate their professional holiday, which is called International Chef Day, on October 20th.

Ved : Its initiator is the World Association of Chef Societies. Since 2004, all people on the planet who are at least somehow involved in this profession have had the opportunity to officially receive congratulations to chefs on their professional holiday and words of gratitude for their skill.

Ved: It is difficult to say when the first chefs appeared.

People have always eaten, but when cavemen discovered fire, cooking took a completely different turn, so the profession of a cook can be considered the oldest. It seems like it’s just a matter of minutes to fry the meat. However, some of our fellow tribesmen make it much tastier, more tender and juicier. Of course, this is just our guess, but this is probably how the first cook appeared on Earth.

Ved: At all times and in all countries, the profession of a cook has been one of the most in demand. Our country is no exception. Since ancient Greece, the cult of Asclepius has taken place. This mythical physician-healer in Rome was called Aesculapius. His daughter Hygeia was revered as the patroness of the science of health, and the cook Kulina helped them in all righteous deeds. She became the patroness of cooking, now called “Cooking”. Even in the ancient writings of China, Egypt, Babylon and the Arab East, records of culinary recipes were contained.

Ved: The celebration of International Chef's Day in more than 70 countries has become large-scale. In addition to the culinary experts themselves, government officials, employees of travel companies and, of course, owners of public catering establishments - from small cafes to famous restaurants - take part in the organization of festive events. They organize skill competitions among chefs, conduct tastings and experiment with preparing original dishes.

Ved: We support this good tradition, and today within the walls of our college we decided to hold a professional skills competition.

Ved: Guests of honor present at our celebration:

Ved: The organizers of our event are:…..

Ved: Assistance in organizing events was provided by:…..

Ved: Well, now it’s time to invite our contestants into the hall.

Ved: Let us introduce the teams:

(command view)

Ved: And now a few words about our competition.

Ved: The competition is held in three stages:

Stage 1 – homework: making rich bakery products, the total weight of the products should not exceed 2 kg.

The task is assessed according to the following indicators:

Presentation;

Appearance;

Taste, color, smell;

Consistency.

Ved: Stage 2 – theoretical task. It consists of answering questions about the technology of preparing dishes and culinary products; industrial sanitation and hygiene. Three answer options are presented, from which you must choose the correct answer.

The task is assessed:

For each correct answer, the team is awarded 1 point. The winner is determined by the sum of points.

Ved: Stage 3 includes the completion of a professional competition task.

The professional competition task involves preparing one serving of European cuisine in accordance with the proposed set of products. 1.5 hours are allotted to complete the task.

When summing up the results of the competition task, the following are taken into account: organization of the workplace, compliance with sanitation rules, rational use of products, organization of the technological process of the prepared dish, taking into account modern technology requirements, proper operation of equipment in compliance with safety rules. The practical task is defended with arguments.

Ved: Without a doubt, not a single competition is complete without judging by the strictest and fairest jury.

Ved: Today our competition will be judged by our true professionals, experts in their field.

Ved: Dear guests. It is my pleasure to introduce you to our jury:….

Ved: Well, dear contestants. We will accompany you to your workplaces. We wish you creative success and good luck in your work.

The presenter comes out:

Good afternoon to everyone present at our event. We have gathered here to hold a tournament - a skillful cook.

I want to start our event with a parable about a cook.

“Once upon a time, philosophers gathered and argued about which profession was more important. One said:

The teacher is most needed. Without education, progress will stop.

Without builders, a person will have nowhere to hide, and humanity will lose beautiful buildings,” said the second philosopher.

Musicians, artists and poets make our lives special. “Art distinguishes man from animals,” exclaimed the third philosopher.

Here the student and at the same time the servant of the owner of the house intervened in the conversation.

Dear scientists, you have forgotten about the profession of a cook.

You are not supposed to interfere in our conversation. Cooking is not an art. Go, prepare dinner,” the owner got angry.

The student silently left the room. On this day, the philosophers did not wait for lunch; the student disappeared. The owner had to prepare dinner himself. Unfortunately, after eating the philosophers felt ill and went home.

The owner found another servant. Time passed, and the philosopher, the owner of the house, noticed that his friends stopped visiting him, and he himself was unable to think after eating. The philosopher thought, and then fired the new cook and sent a note to the former student with one phrase: “Cooking is not a craft, but an art.”

Soon scientists began to gather again in the philosopher’s house. Discussions were interrupted only by a delicious lunch prepared by the student.

“Cooking is not a craft, but an art,” the owner said after dinner.

Popular wisdom says that any profession requires skill. And the profession of a cook is a special profession. If you love cooking and strive for mastery, the result is honor and honor.

Hippocrates also said that our food should be a remedy, and our remedy should be our food. An old Russian proverb says: “A good cook is worth a doctor.” Indeed, a cook, like a doctor, cannot be indifferent. After all, his health, mood, and labor productivity depend on how to feed a person. And this is also a profession that requires constant search and creative imagination, because you need to pleasantly surprise a visitor every time he enters a canteen, cafe, or restaurant.

Before we start our tournament, we need to select participants. We have three groups of cooks, so there will be three teams. We will select participants from each group using questions.

And so, first, questions for group 27 P:

If their players find it difficult to answer, then the opportunity to answer passes to the other team. The team that defines the subject more correctly and quickly wins.

Presenter - But now our event is coming to an end. All that remains is to sum up the results of the “Skilled Chef” tournament.

And while the winning team is being determined. I would like to read you a poem about the profession of a cook:

White apron and cap,

The dawn itself is blushing.

It’s a trifle for us to guess,

Who is here in front of us?

He's at the stove all day

Both in winter and in summer.

So that you and I are full,

He fries cutlets for us.

Compote is boiling on the stove

And the broth is clear.

Feed the people as soon as possible -

This is his task.

The driver is full and the soldier is full -

So everything is fine.

The astronaut is fed up in the rocket,

Children in kindergarten...

Maybe they won't believe me

Someone will smile.

There is nothing more needed on earth

Cooks work!

So, we let the jury speak.

Prepare certificates.

We summarize the results and awards.

Thanks to everyone who took part in our tournament - Skilled Chef. The most skilled cooks are the members of the group ______

Thank you all for your attention. I hope everyone enjoyed our tournament.

Good afternoon dear friends!

We are pleased to welcome you to the professional competition “Culinary Duel”. The famous philosopher Hippocrates said: Our food should be a remedy. And our medicine should be our food.

Presenter 2:

These are wise words. Nowadays, it is quite obvious that food is the most powerful antibiotic, because it protects the body from germs. If the population of the whole world ate properly, then we would hardly need medicine.

Presenter 1:

Proper nutrition is the key to our health, beauty and this is a real art.

(soft music sounds)

Philosophers once gathered and argued about what profession

more important. One said:

The teacher is most needed. Without education, progress will stop.

No... Without builders, a person will have nowhere to hide, and humanity will lose beautiful buildings, said the second philosopher.

Musicians, artists and poets make our lives special. Art

distinguishes man from animals,” exclaimed the third philosopher.

Here the student and at the same time the servant of the owner of the house intervened in the conversation.

Dear scientists, you have forgotten about the profession of a cook.

You are not supposed to interfere in our conversation. Cooking is not

art. “Go cook dinner,” the owner got angry. The student silently left the room.

On this day, the philosophers did not wait for lunch; the student disappeared. The owner had to prepare dinner himself. Unfortunately, after eating the philosophers felt ill and went home.

The owner found another servant. Time has passed, and the philosopher is the master of the house,

noticed that his friends stopped visiting him, and he himself was unable to

was thinking. The philosopher thought and fired the new cook, and sent a note to his former student with one phrase: “Cooking is not a craft, but

art ".

Soon, pundits began to gather again in the philosopher’s house. Discussion

interrupted only by a delicious lunch prepared by the student.

Cooking is not a craft, but an art, the owner said after every dinner.

Progress of the program

Leading. Hello guys! Today we have gathered here to talk and learn more about one of the professions, and guess which one:

We will wake up when you are sleeping,
And sift the flour in a sieve,
Let's heat the oven red hot,
To bake bread in the morning.
Who is this? (Bakers, cooks.)

The first cook.
The boys are having a sweet dream,
The mustachioed cat sleeps in a ball,
Only the cook can't sleep -
The cook gets up before dark.

Second cook.
The porridge gurgles lightly
And the scrambled eggs sizzle.
And to the delicious noise and hubbub
Appetite enters the bedrooms.

Third cook.
We'll sit together in the dining room,
Like a huge family.
I'll be a cook in the dining room -
That's what I decided myself!

(Suddenly a girl comes out from behind the stage.)

Girl. Iron my dress, grandma!
Grandma. What about you yourself, dear?
Girl. I must prepare the poems!
Granny. Okay, learn quickly
After lunch, warm it up.
Girl. Let mom! Do I care?
Today we have a meeting at our school!
Grandma. What is the question before you?
Girl. Do everything yourself!
Grandma. So, then, not ours? Yourself?
With your own hands?
And what will you show at the training camp?
Girl. And I will sing in the choir.
Then perform poetry:
"Do everything with your own hands!"
Grandma. Ah ah ah! (Shakes his head.)

Leading. Are there really such girls and boys among you? I want to believe that it is not! After all, you can’t have adults, grandmothers and mothers do everything for you. Otherwise it might turn out like in one famous song.

The song "Antoshka" by Yu. Entin is performed.

Reader.
Why are there clouds in the sky?
Why are hedgehogs prickly?
Why does a snowflake melt?
Reaching your palm?

Why do dunes crawl?
Why are there fogs?
Why land and sea
A whole century of arguing with each other?

Why did the star fall?
Why do I know little?
Apparently you shouldn't be lazy,
And study and study.
K. Murzaliev.

Leading. So, guys, you will grow up and will do without the help of adults. But for this you need to study, and today we are opening a school of cooks, where you will learn how to cook, what to cook with, what vegetables are the healthiest, how to set the table and how to behave at it, what to eat with a spoon and what with a fork. To make learning more interesting, let’s organize teams that will master the art of cooking in competition games.

Competition "To the cellar for potatoes."

Leading. So, we have two teams: “Cooks” and “Bakers”. In order to cook something, you need to bring food. Where can I get them? You can, of course, buy it in a store, but a real chef should always have his own supplies. Where are they stored? That's right, in the cellar! So, go to the cellar for potatoes!

A hoop is placed between the tables and the starting benches - this is the entrance to the cellar. Participants are given bags, with which they run at a signal, climb through hoops and take potatoes from the table. Back - in the same way. The winner is the team whose members are the first to carry all the potatoes.

Leading.
You can't make soup from just potatoes. We need water.

Put buckets on the rocker arms,
Hurry to the well - get water!
Then bring the buckets back to me
And everyone take their place.

Competition "To the well for water."
Participants with a children's shovel run along a path drawn with chalk towards a bucket vault. They scoop up water and walk back at a walk. Then pour water into the pan. The team that brings the most water wins. At the end of the competition, the presenter pours water into a special container with a volume scale, determining who brought the most water.

Meeting with the guest.

Leading.
Guys, why are we competing, but the teacher is nowhere to be seen at our school? Who will mark us? Let's invite our cook Nina Ivanovna and ask her to tell us a little about her profession.
(The school canteen chef talks about the content of his profession and the products of his labor.)

Yes, the work of a cook is not easy. You need to get up early and stand at the stove all day. But how nice it is to see that your work is not in vain.
Friends, do you like the way our guest cooks? And now it’s our turn to treat Nina Ivanovna to our dishes. Maybe we can bake something? What are they baked from? That's right, made from flour.

Competition "Pour flour".
On each table there is an empty bottle, a bowl of sand, a watering can and glasses. You need enough sand to fill an empty bottle. Each team must pour sand from the bowl into the watering can, and from the watering can into the bottle, as quickly as possible. The team that completes the task first wins.

Competition "Bake pancakes".

Leading.
Now our chefs will show their culinary art. They will bake pancakes. There is plasticine and a children's spatula on the tables. At the signal, the first team numbers run up to the table, take plasticine, roll it out and shape it into a pancake. Then they take it with a spatula and put it on a plate. Whose team will bake pancakes faster?

While the teams compete, hear about a person's achievements in the field of cooking, taken from the Guinness Book of Records:

While the teams are competing, a task for the fans.

Riddles competition.
The presenter reads riddles on the topic of cooking, and the audience guesses.

Leading.
We check how the teams prepared the table for lunch.
- there is an oilcloth on the surface of the table, then a tablecloth,
- the plate is placed exactly at a distance of 1-2 cm from the edge. There is a large (deep) one on a shallow plate.
- knives are laid out to the right of the plates, forks to the left. Spoons lie behind the plates parallel to the edge of the table.
- for water or juice, glasses are on the right behind the appliances,
- napkins - on plates,
- flowers in vases decorate the festive table.

We have set a festive table, which happens on birthdays. Not a single holiday in Rus' is complete without songs and round dances, and even more so a name day. I invite you to listen and maybe sing the song “Let them run clumsily...”

V. Shainsky's song "Let them run clumsily..." is performed.

Competition "Exams".
Leading. The academic year at our cook school is ending. It's time for exams. Now the teams must create a three-course lunch menu so that the names of the first, second and third courses begin with the same letter. For the team "Cooks" it starts with the letter "K", and for the team "Bakers" it starts with the letter "S".
While the teams are creating a menu for our holiday table, we will play the game "Loaf".

The spectators stand in a circle, and the Russian folk round dance game “Loaf-Loaf” begins. The game is repeated 3-4 times, its pace keeps getting faster.

Song Contest.

Leading. Guys, we have guests again.

A fox and a bear cub appear. Fox is a pie seller.

Little bear. Oh, how it smells like pies...
Fox. Pies! Hot pies. Who wants pies?
Little bear. Me, me, aunty! How much does one pie cost?
Fox. One pie is worth one song, two pies are worth two songs.
Teddy Bear. Give me a pie without a song. I'm very hungry.
Fox. No, my friend, I won’t let you do it without a song. If you don’t sing, I’ll go to the birch grove. The nightingales are singing there!
Teddy Bear. Don't go, please, I'll try. What song should you sing?
Fox. I love it. For example, the one you sing at school.
Little bear. At school? Oh yes at school. Will it work about a crocodile?
Fox. It'll do. I am listening you.
The little bear sings to the tune of the song “Let them run clumsily...”:
The clumsy crocodile will splash through the puddles.
He will splash Cheburashka.
And then on his birthday he will eat a jar of jam,
He will make broth from the frogs.
Fox. Enough, enough! Looks like mama bear is stepping on your ear.
Little bear. I can sing another one, since you don’t like this one.
Fox. No, I beg you!
The little bear sings again:
A grasshopper sat in the grass,
Looks like a cucumber
He was green
Like Gena the crocodile.
Fox. My poor ears! We need to save you!
Little bear. Where are you going? What about the pie? Ran away...
Leading. Wait, dear fox. Let the students of our cook school delight you with their songs. Moreover, they also love pies.
Teams take turns performing songs on any topic.
Leading. So, let's summarize our competition. The teams have passed the exams, it’s time to give them diplomas from the school of cheerful chefs.
Goodbye! We wish you good luck and success!
